The Rules
Here's roughly how the game works:
- Pick one club to play with each round.
- If your club wins, you earn 3 points.
- On a draw, you get 1 point.
- You may pick the same club a maximum of 2 times per season.
- You have 3 jokers to double your points that round.
- The season is divided into 4 periods, so you can also become period champion.

An Example
Matteo picks Napoli in Round 1. Napoli plays Genoa that round and wins 7-1. Matteo gets 3 points for Napoli's win, 7 goals for and 1 goal against.
Vittoria picks Juventus in Round 1. Juventus plays Atalanta and the match ends 0-0. Vittoria gets 1 point for Juventus' draw. The standings then look like this:
| Name | Pts | Goals for | Goals against | Goal difference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Matteo | 3 | 7 | 1 | +6 |
| Vittoria | 1 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
In Round 2, Matteo picks AS Roma. AS Roma plays Lazio that round and loses 1-4. Matteo gets 0 points for AS Roma's loss, 1 goal for and 4 goals against.
Vittoria picks AC Milan in Round 2. AC Milan plays Como and wins 2-1. Vittoria gets 3 points for AC Milan's win, 2 goals for and 1 goal against. The standings then look like this:
| Name | Pts | Goals for | Goals against | Goal difference |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Vittoria | 4 | 2 | 1 | 1 |
| Matteo | 3 | 8 | 5 | +3 |
Suppose Vittoria had used a joker in Round 2. Then her Round 2 result would have doubled, so 6 points, 4 goals for and 2 goals against.
Good tactics
We don't know what a good tactic is. It comes down to knowledge, skill, insight and pure luck.
There are 38 matchdays and 20 clubs. You may pick each club a maximum of 2 times. That means you don't have to pick 1 club at all, or you can pick 2 clubs just once. You can decide not to pick a weaker club at all. Or that one club you can't stand, so you don't have to cheer for them. You're completely free to figure it all out and decide for yourself.
We also don't know what a good tactic is for using jokers. It does seem better, though, to use a joker on a match where you think it's fairly certain your chosen club will win.
But in the end, everything always turns out differently than planned anyway.
