Do you want to sign up for the Vuelta d'España?
The Rules
Here's roughly how the game works (almost identical to the Tour de France):
- Pick 1 rider for each stage.
- You may select a maximum of 1 rider from each team.
- That rider's time is added to your total time.
- The points of that rider in the points and mountains classifications are added to your total.
- The person with the lowest total time at the end of the Vuelta wins the General Classification.
- You can use a joker 1 time.
- A joker protects your rider against a total off-day. With a joker, the potential gap to the stage winner is a maximum of 90 seconds.
- A joker also doubles the points earned in the points and mountains classifications for that stage.
- A submitted choice is final and cannot be reversed, even if you picked a rider who is no longer participating.
- Too late or no pick = time and points of the last rider.

Joker example:
In Stage 3, Jonas picks Ben Healey. He completes the stage in 3:21:18. Leontien picks Jonathan Milan, who has a complete off-day and finishes the stage in 4:36:03.
Fortunately, Leontien had used a joker. As a result, her time is a maximum of 90 seconds slower than the stage winner. The stage was won by Primož Roglič in a time of 3:18:20. Thanks to the joker, Leontien's time is now 3:19:50.
